mastermind Bill Cosby became incensed when Lisa Bonet, his daughter on the show, filmed an explicit sex scene with Mickey Rourke and then posed for naked photos to promote it in INTERVIEW magazine. He created a spin-off series for her (A Different World) where she would go for its first season before returning to The Cosby Show for a little while before a pregnancy gave Cosby a reason finally to fire her. Cosby was, for decades, an influential voice in the industry. His partnership with Robert Culp in I, Spy gave him particular clout in a climate that is to this day notoriously unwelcoming to black creators. When asked to create a show for Marcy Carsey and Tom Werner’s new production company in the early ’80s, Cosby conjured the affluent, Brownstone-dwelling Huxtables who moved among the 1% with nary a mention of the race issues that continue to divide this nation. The Cosby Show, while aspirational for some, is a dangerous fantasy of a post-racial America for others. Like so many things our leaders told us in that decade, it was all a disgusting lie.
We set up a makeshift recording studio in a storage unit and filmed an hilarious episode about Scream 2, 3, and 4 but it sounded like poop Ben said so you'll never know that figured out the meaning of life.
I love Scream very much and I was super happy to have us all talk about it. But I learned I am the only one who likes Scream. It can't be true though...tell me you like it too!
OK, I have learned I am wrong. They do not hate everything. They liked Trucks...Fuck me.
I love everything about this movie and my buddies here hated it. I have come to find I like everything because it's all fun while the other two idiots hate it all.
This movie is so bad that when I was looking for a copy to watch for this review I purchased the Elvira episode just so I could stomach it.
When I was in college in the long, long time ago my roomate spent $200 on a VHS copy of this. Our rent between the 5 people who lived in the place was probably like half of that. My other roommate and I still make fun of him to this day for this purchase.
We learned the only reason we were watching this one was because it kinda, sorta, somewhat, had boobs on the cover. That is where Ben was at for his ever so important Christmas pick.
For Christmas we all picked out a horror movie with a Ho Ho Ho tint. This one was mine and my second favorite of our series.
This one was Mark's pick and it easily had the best monster. No argument at all.
